The Best Walks

With our dog-friendly glamping in Devon, we have the perfect walks for you and your best friend right on your doorstep. The Tarka Trail is a figure-eight loop starting from the historic market town of Barnstaple, offering beautiful sea views, dramatic sea cliffs and stunning beaches while taking in the crisp ocean fresh air.

Less than a 15-minute drive from our cabins there are several dog-friendly beaches, where you can take a dip and let your dog run free at certain times of the year. Westward Ho! is a sandy beach with a pebbled ridge, giving you and your best friend plenty of room if the tide is out. Dogs are welcome on the entire beach from October to April then from May to September, so this beach is seasonally dog friendly.

Doggy Day Trips

When enjoying dog-friendly holidays in North Devon, Clovelly is the perfect day trip. It is a beautiful fishing village that welcomes dogs on leads. You and your pooch can spend the day in this village enjoying cream teas, a walk on the beach, a hike along the coast path or a drink at the historic pub, creating memories as you go. From here you can walk further along the coastal path, England’s longest and most loved national trail! From Clovelly, you and your dog will experience breathtaking views as you stroll along the coast path.

For precious pooches and owners who don’t like getting wet on holiday, you can visit Bideford Pannier Market or Affinity Outlet where you and your dog can wander around the food stalls, shops, and historic buildings.
