We live in a beautiful part of North Devon, so every now and then we step out and explore! Last Saturday morning, we decided to go out for brunch. Our first stop was the Puffing Billy Cafe, just outside Torrington, right on the Tarka Trail.   I had a ‘Station Master’s Breakfast’ while Teresa opted for the smaller ‘Tarka Breakfast’. Both were delicious and filling. They offer a good variety of choices for everyone, including a special ‘Canine Menu’  – there is eating inside and out which is very much Dog Friendly. After letting our breakfast settle, we headed to Appledore, near Westward Ho!, about a 15-minute drive from Bideford.  Bideford was bustling with activity due to the Annual Port of Bideford Regatta.
